Second phase of the Mosaic Agrodata 4.0 Project: a boost for the digital transformation of the agri-food sector

The Mosaic Agrodata 4.0 project, led by Netboss Comunicaciones, has received the green light to advance to its second phase. The objective is to continue the development of the platform, incorporating new modules that expand its scope of operation.

The year 2023 has been a success for the Mosaic Agrodata 4.0 project, led by Netboss Communications together with SOINCON, SIALI and the Cluster Ontech Innovation Granada. Following the successful completion of the first phase, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism has awarded a grant to move forward to the second phase of the project.

The Ministry’s endorsement of the initiative presented in the previous call for proposals has boosted the possibility of concluding the project in a future phase 3. The approval of the second phase represents a line of continuity for both the project and the companies involved.

The photo shows the team of the consortium at a technical coordination meeting, sharing progress and scheduling the tasks we are working on to meet the objectives set for this phase II.

The objective of this second phase is to give continuity to the development of the platform, incorporating new modules that expand the scope of operation of Mosaic Agrodata 4.0. These modules will integrate those built independently in the first phase, allowing their practical validation in the field during a third phase.

The project Mosaic Agrodata 4.0 is based on cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics and Decision Support Systems (DSS). These technologies will enable the platform to manage all the operations and resources involved in the life cycle of an agricultural product, from before it is planted until it reaches the final consumer.

With the potential to digitally transform the agri-food sector, the project Mosaic Agrodata 4.0 promises significant benefits, including increased efficiency, improved sustainability by reducing environmental impact, and enhanced traceability that provides transparency and confidence to consumers.
