Technology is here to stay, also in the agricultural sector. And it’s not just applying sensor technology, it’s not just real-time knowledge but… what you do with that knowledge.
The solution we are investigating within a cluster together with Ontech Innovation Granada, Soincon, Siali Technologies and Citican is based on applying the latest process management technologies, monitoring in real time the entire life cycle of a farm on a single platform, so that the best decisions can be made at the right time, mobilizing the necessary resources at all times.
Obviously the consequence is the optimization of time and resources resulting in an increase in productivity, competitiveness and product quality, but… above all, it is about controlling the key processes by efficiently managing all the resources involved in the life cycle of an agricultural product.
We will keep you updated on this research project funded by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism within the support program for AEIs to contribute to improving the competitiveness of Spanish industry, and with the support of the European Union through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
